Design and Location
Little One's Garden Early Education Centre is a purpose built centre proudly designed by Life Style Architects to cater to children’s needs.
Rich resources:
Little One’s Garden is equipped with abundant, high quality learning resources to provide children with opportunities to explore the environment and to experiment with new ideas.
ICT
The centre believes that technology plays a very important role in children’s learning. In todays’ modern world, there is a growing recognition of the many different ways that ICT can contribute to, or transform, the activities, roles, and relationships experienced by children and adults in early childhood education settings.
Little One’s Garden uses’ Educa E-portfolio’ so that parents and Whanau can easily revisit children’s learning anytime, anywhere. Every room is equipped with I-PADs and TV and children are given free access to these equipments so that they can revisit their learning journey. Teachers use these resources to connect to Auckland Library in order to play e-stories for children. This way technology is used wisely in our centre to facilitate children’s learning and to build relationships with the wider community. Teachers also use technology to scaffold children’s learning. They use internet to find information about a particular topic or idea sparked by children’s interest.
Our Teachers
Little One's Garden Early Education Centre attracts talented teachers, who are passionate about early childhood education and committed to be lifelong learners. They receive continuous professional development support and design curriculum according to individual child's needs.
